*Discussion*

The call briefly recapped the ongoing efforts of the group. The VidMid-VoD white paper on VoD directories is moving along; anyone interested in contributing to the early work should contact Mairead before Jan. 23rd. Mairead proposed releasing it at the same time as NMI 1.0 since it is relevant to that effort.

The NMI 2.0 Request For Proposals deadline is March 1. The two VidMid subgroups, VoD and VC, are collaborating and working to determine whether joint or separate proposals are appropriate. Grace Agnew discussed the AMIA (Association of Moving Image Archivists) moving image gateway project, with which she is involved.

A discussion on Steve Olshansky and Mairead Martin's preliminary research on industry DRM models was tabled until a future call focusing primarily on DRM related issues. No new information on potential funding sources has come to light, so this discussion was also tabled.
