[AI] Klara will send out the survey invitation to a broader group, including the Educause IdM CG and CSG lists,
with instructions for the recipients to direct it to the appropriate staff within their organizations.

*Carryover Action Items*
[AI] (Dave and Chris) will coordinate on hook development directions,
and (Dave) will write up the differences between hooks and plug-ins in Signet and Grouper.

[AI] (MikeO) will send a note out to the list with some context about
auditing issues and requesting folks to talk with their respective
auditors for their perspectives, and report/discuss via the list.

[AI] (MikeO) will develop an initial strawman set of test cases to float
to the list for feedback. Mike will also contact U. Washington for
information on their authority manager (ASTRA), for additional data
points about how other systems approach these issues.

- Privilege Management Survey
Rob reported that there have now been 13 responses to the privilege management survey, which is better than 2 weeks ago. Klara and Rob hope to receive more responses soon.

Rob will report on the responses received so far at the Internet2 Fall Member Meeting Grouper/Signet Working Group Session on Monday, October 13 at 3 p.m.

- Signet 1.3.1 Minor Release
Signet 1.3.1 should be released today. It includes the new Subject API and a few bug fixes, such as fixes to the JAR files and to null pointer exception fixes. Signet 1.3.1 will not be announced; it’s being created primarily as a fallback point for bookkeeping purposes.

- Signet 1.3.5 Release Including Hooks and Plug-ins
Signet 1.3.5 will be released in the next few days and will include hooks and plug-ins functionality. It will also include the password encryption that the Grouper development group has added.
