- Begin the process of gathering high level diagnostic tool requirements from
the perspective of the target user (the operator, administrator or
developer) of a specific Middleware application area. As much as possible, keep
the dialog in "user speak", to let them express their frustration naturally and not
influence it.

- Compile 10 questions of what the diagnostic tool should help answer with respect to a
specific Middleware area.
- Write a detailed scenario that describes "the day in the life" of an end user of a
specific Middleware application trying to diagnose a problem, before and after they adopt a
imaginary diagnostic tool.
- Canvas at least 5 Middleware initiatives.
