**Discussion**

1. Review survey on group usage. See
<https://spaces.internet2.edu/display/macedir/Survey+on+Group+Usage>

The group is encouraged to make any desired changes to the version in
the wiki by 20-October (next call) so we can get it into SurveyMonkey
and ready for responses.

2. Review survey on use of test accounts in production. See
<https://spaces.internet2.edu/display/macedir/Survey+on+Test+Identities>

3. Suggestions for discussion topics for Internet2 Member Meeting
Directory Working Group Session Monday October 13, 2008,
8:30-10:00 AM
http://events.internet2.edu/2008/fall-mm/sessionDetails.cfm?session=10000276&event=911
- suggestion from Scott Cantor is a discussion of the use of eduOrg
attributes in the context of Shibboleth
- suggestion from RL “Bob” is a discussion of attributes that would be
used for an initial app involving students signing on to do things like
enrollment verification and loan deferments (ref. his mail to the
MACE-Dir list 6-Oct-2008 related to this).

This was largely spurred by the National Student Clearinghouse (NSC),
which has joined InCommon. There will be some further discussions with
NSC to flesh out the use cases.

There was discussion of linking identifiers as a person moves from one
institution to another, whether this is useful, and how this might be
accomplished.
