**Discussion**
- I2MM MACE-Dir working group session discussion
Monday, April 27, 2009, 8:00 AM - 9:00 AM
- Review of this year
- Groups survey
- Future direction of MACE-Dir
There was a brief discussion of the session plans, and potential future topics including LoA and various identifiers (e.g. grid). Also, acting as a conduit between the Higher Ed community and others working on related topics would seem to be a logical role for MACE-Dir.
The relationship between eduPerson and OpenID and InfoCard was also cited as potential future topics...
Using eduPerson to create consistency in the use of SAML in other industries arose as a question. Would more generically-named attributes be more inclusive?
Organizational identifiers also arose, with the question of whether the previous eduOrg work would suffice or if this would merit further work.
Privilege/Access management continues to be of interest, dovetailing with the MACE-paccman work.
- Call Frequency-
There was a discussion of whether biweekly calls seem to be the right frequency, and consensus was that it would be wise to keep this slot on calendars but be open to canceling calls if there are no burning agenda items.
