**Discussion**

* Internet2

- The next Internet2 board meeting is Wednesday 8-July, at which the InCommon future report will be presented, among other topics.

- Jack Suess is now chair of AMSAC.

- Randy Frank, the new CTO, is now on board.

- Strategic planning - there are now priorities attached to the activities.

* more MICE

Greater coordination in software development among various prominent EU/US R&E organizations is one of the primary goals.

* ACAMP follow-ups: global multi-project identity umbrella?

There was consensus that coordination among the various organizations/projects represented (Jasig, Kuali, Kantara, MACE/Internet2), as a clearinghouse resource for the broad community, would be a good thing. Jens is working on this...

The question of where this umbrella activity should be homed needs to be addressed soon, and is at the top of the list of the action item conveners. Possibilities being considered are MACE/Internet2, Jasig, and Kantara. More to come as this develops.

* Geneva testing venue(s)

Integration with, and testing of, Geneva is of growing interest. There are similar conversations under way with Oracle, re: SAML access to Oracle/PeopleSoft ERP apps.

* CILogon engagement?

http://www.cilogon.org/

Announcement: http://bit.ly/olnyJ

This NSF sponsored project would seem to be a logical thing for MACE to be involved with. More to come as this develops.

* The Tao of Attributes workshop

has worked out a potential conflict with an OASIS meeting which had been set for the same dates, but has now been moved. Use cases are now being developed for the workshop...
