**Recent meetings**

- IETF 80 - Prague, Czech Republic

March 27 - April 1, 2011

HTTP's dominance was noted, and Javascript in the browser as well. The implications of these factors were main topic...

The relative merits of TLSA v. CAA was also discussed.

It was noted that identity is a bigger factor at IETF than it used to be, e.g. ABFAB and OAUTH.

- IDTrust

http://middleware.internet2.edu/idtrust/2011/

Apr 6-7, 2011, Gaithersburg, MD

Sponsorship for future meetings is being discussed. More info as it is available.

- Spring 2011 Internet2 Member Meeting

April 18-20, 2011, Arlington, VA

http://events.internet2.edu/2011/spring-mm/

The prospect of OIX as a federation exchange point between EU federations and the US government seems to be gaining traction/attention.

The Moonshot session/demo was very well attended.

- Jasig/ACAMP 2011

May 25-27, 2011 in Westminster, CO

https://spaces.internet2.edu/display/ACAMPIdSummit2011/Home

ACAMP will be adjacent to the JASIG conference in Denver, and will be similar to past ACAMPs. This will be at the end of May, unlike in past years and branded InCommon. There will be an InC-Silver session.

Registration is about on par with previous years. Presenters are being invited...

- InCommon CAMP

June 21-23, 2011, Cincinnati OH

https://spaces.internet2.edu/display/CAMPJune2011/Home

- IIW

May 3-5, 2011, Mountain View, CA

http://iiw.idcommons.net/

RL "Bob" will be attending.

- TERENA NC/REFEDs

May 16-19, 2011, Prague, Czech Republic

https://tnc2011.terena.org/

REFEDs meeting will be at the beginning...

- W3C Workshop on Identity in the Browser

May 24-25, 2011, Mountain View, CA

http://www.w3.org/2011/identity-ws/

MACE representation at this is uncertain, if it takes place, given the overlap with ACAMP.

**Discussion**

- I2 middleware and InCommon

If/as there are opportunities for external engagement with senior management about prioritization, that info will be discussed with MACE. There is a growing emphasis on higher levels of the stack...

- Seed corn followup

Good meetings were held with seedcorn at the I2MM, and they will be invited to future theme calls.

[AI] (All) send seedcorn suggestions to Ken.

- SocialID group status?

This group holds well-attended calls biweekly, and is making progress on clarifying the space. The question arose of a Social2SAML gateway for US higher ed, and where it might be homed. Standardization of methods of asserting social attributes, and discovery mechanisms, arose as areas of particular interest.

This topic area seems to be gaining interest, as more organizations seek to tackle issues in this arena.
