- CloudID Summit / Kantara Initiative & OpenID Summit
July 18-21, 2011, Keystone CO
http://www.cloudidentitysummit.com/
Ken attended. Reviving Tao of Attributes arose, perhaps inside Kantara. IRTF might also be a viable home for this, but it is not baked enough for IETF.
There appear to be viable remote proofing mechanisms for OpenID LoA2 that might be appropriate in the gov't. context. Bilateral v. multi-lateral federations also arose -- bilateral seems to be the norm now but multi-lateral appears to be gaining steam, or at least acceptance. There is also a trust-elevation activity in OASIS, with some identity proofing and additional risk mitigation enabling higher LoAs for social identities.
SCIM conversations centered around SW vendors, v. the user community. MACE-Dir will be receiving an update on this on today's call, from a key participant.
