Attribute aggregation and extending federation beyond SSO seem to be emerging as topics.

There has been renewed (narrow) interest in Eduroam in the US. More to come on this as it develops. It may be that growing wireless availability is driving this...

**Discussion**

- Internet2 strategic planning, MACE/I2MI program

AMSAC has been reviewing the I2MI white paper, on its way to submission to the SPEC.

There will be an open AMSAC meeting at the Spring Internet2 Member Meeting, as is the case for all of the councils. The I2MI working group chairs will be making brief presentations to AMSAC.

- New Internet2 middleware website review

The Internet2 Middleware Initiative is asking for 15 minutes of your time to review our new web site and give us your feedback:

http://www.internet2.edu/middleware/f.cfm (not yet public)

To help with the evaluation, there is a short survey at

http://www.surveymonkey.com/s_pass.aspx?sm=Tz%2bVclSHysCZSEFpvK%2fPvg%3d%3d

Password: *i2mi*

The goal is to finalize the site by the Internet2 Spring Member meeting and will be asking a number of groups to evaluate it. Hence, we ask that you give us your thoughts by CoB Monday 13-April.

- ISOC, Liberty/NewOrg, interfed

Liberty's new organization will be finalized soon. They will be more proactive in the privacy and federation areas ongoing.

This may also include interfederation, although this remains to be ironed out with TF-EMC2 and REFEDS. The goal is cooperation and eliminating duplication of effort.

- Grid certificates, campus IdPs and LoA

There has been interest among the Grid community about InCommon and LoA in their context - primarily using short term (per session) certs. These certs would be used by portals or other means of mediating access for end users, with the goal of making them easier to use.

There is work underway to make the InCommon POP documents (at each IdP) more visible and findable so as to make it easier for SPs to evaluate them.

- the4bf.com

This is the evolution of the HEBCA work, and appears to be an effort to get the technology in wider use.

- MACE-paccman

There was discussion about this working group, and ways to potentially spur more interest and activity. MACE members are encouraged to attend the BoF at the I2MM Monday April 27, 11:45 AM - 1:15 PM
